American Legion Post 190 – Ripon, California
American Legion Post 190 is dedicated to serving veterans, their families, and the Ripon community. Every dollar we raise is directed toward qualified 501(c) and 501(c)(19) Veterans Service Organizations and local programs that make a tangible difference.
From those who served in Korea, Vietnam, and the Cold War to the millions who have served in post-9/11 conflicts, our mission is simple: ensure no veteran is overlooked and no family is left without support.

What We Do
Post 190 proudly supports and leads a variety of programs and initiatives, including:
-
Providing access to trained and experienced VA benefits service officers
-
Supporting Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation (VA&R) programs
-
Funding and maintaining the Ripon Veterans Wall
-
Establishing and expanding the Ripon Veterans Museum
-
Hosting Memorial Day and Veterans Day community ceremonies
-
Coordinating the Military Mile Banner Program along Fulton Avenue to honor local service members
-
Promoting civic responsibility through scholarships to the California Boys State program
-
Recognizing excellence through our Veteran, First Responder, and Community Volunteer of the Year awards
Our Commitment
We are committed to strengthening our community by honoring service, supporting veterans, and investing in future generations. With continued community support, we aim to expand our impact and reach even more veterans and their families each year.
